Your Daily Business

As (Senior) Backend Developer PHP you develop complex and highly scalable technical solutions based on PHP / Symfony together with your project team and third parties. This includes:

Realisation of e-commerce applications for dynamic, individual as well as future-oriented webshops through state-of-the-art solutions as well as interface communications.
Close cooperation with the QA department as well as UX/UI designers for new components and functions.
Database design and optimisation of databases based on MySQL
Creation of unit tests and user documentation
Use of code management and tools such as Git, Composer, PHPUnit, PHPStan, Cypress, Buddy, PHP CSFixer, Docker, ...
Responsibility for quality assurance in the context of "developer tests".
Support of existing backend applications by analysing their handling and functionality as well as continuous improvement and optimisation based on new functions and modules.

Your Must Haves

You have >3 years of experience developing with PHP
You are proficient in Symfony and have a good understanding of MySQL
You love to work in a team, even remotely
You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable source code and have experience in TDD
(Unit) tests are not a burden for you, but you see them as a chance to write your code even better
Your analytical skills are characterised by solution-oriented approaches and you enjoy communicating with other employees.
